This page provides definitions for key terms used in our privacy documentation.

Personal Information means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household.

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device by websites that you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.

Data Controller means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.

Data Processor means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

Processing means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, dissemination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.

Consent means any freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which they signify agreement to the processing of personal data relating to them.
